Yuletide Yin and Yang Yoga 3:30pm
5:30pm Sunday 22nd December 2019
Join Alison for this 2 hour candlelit Yuletide Yin and Yang yoga class to ease away any pre Christmas stresses and strains, and leave ready for the festivities.
Yin and Yang Yoga is a class that balances the slow paced Yin with traditional Yang yoga (Hatha) and offers the opportunity to practice the two different styles in one class. This session will start with an energising Yang sequence to get the body moving and warmed, before transitioning to the slower paced Yin section. During the second half of the class the body is supported with bolsters and blankets to allow it to gently stretch and relax, easing away any tension and tightness.
By combining the two styles, Yin and Yang yoga improves energy and fitness whilst promoting relaxation and healing ~ the perfect pre-Christmas treat for yourself!
Suitable for Yogis of all levels
Tickets cost £18 and all profit from this class will be donated to The Hospice in The Weald
Relax and Renew: Post Christmas Restorative Yoga Class
3:30pm – 5:30pm Sunday 29th December 2019
Are you still tired when waking in the morning?
Do you feel a lack of energy and feel tired most days?
Perhaps Insomnia is a problem?
Or maybe you have noticed that you have become forgetful or have impaired levels of concentration and attention?
It may even be that anxiety and depression have reared their ugly heads?
All of these can be signs of mental exhaustion, as in this day and age we seem to have forgotten how to rest; not just sleep, but properly rest.
Panic not, Alison and Sally can help!
Restorative Yoga is a floor based practice that requires no effort other than relaxing into gently supported postures that help an unhealthy or injured body restore itself back to a normal healthy state. This is the ultimate in relaxation and is suitable for complete beginners, yogis living with chronic illness as well as advanced practitioners looking to slow down, rejuvenate and take rest.
This two hour class, will be taught by Alison of Foxwood Yoga and Sally of Wild Orange Yoga. Alison trained with Judith Hanson Lasater, the World leader in Restorative Yoga to Advanced level two and Sally has completed her level one training with Adelene Cheong so you are in very safe hands. We feel that for this extra special post Christmas class, warrants two proficient teachers as we will be using a huge number of props with each set up to ensure you are completely comfortable.
Why not leave your troubles at the door and join us for two hours of ‘Relax and Renew’?
Spaces for this class will be strictly limited to 10 so early booking is advised.
Tickets cost £25 and all profit from this class will be donated to Hospice in the Weald.
